DGFT's Digital Leap: New Portal to Boost Export Efficiency
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) today launched its new 'Trade Facilitation 2.0' online portal. This single-window system aims to dramatically reduce processing times for export licenses and other permissions.
Key features include AI-powered document verification and real-time application tracking. 'Our goal is to enhance the ease of doing business for Indian exporters,' said a DGFT spokesperson. 'This platform cuts down on manual intervention and brings transparency to the entire process.'
